Senior Consultant to PepsiCo on MENA Public Policy and Government Affairs (Contract) • Stakeholder management and collaboration with government, think tanks, industry associations, and private sector partners to develop actionable plans, programs and partnerships aligned with business strategic goals and objectives across the Middle East and North Africa. • Aligns programs and partnerships in the MENA region with global objectives and PepsiCo programs across other regions. • Develop and manage PepsiCo programs during Expo 2020, including developing partnerships and collaborative events with regional governments. • Monitor policies and regulations and analyze impact on PepsiCo operations, including excise tax regulations and reforms and provide recommendations. Engage government stakeholders and influencers to develop/revise policies and regulations impacting industry. • Monitor political and social events in the region, especially COVID-19 related regulations and policies, to develop business impact and risk analysis reports on PepsiCo operations. • Develop speaking points on PepsiCo operations and government affairs projects for meetings with senior government leaders and media communications. • Provide recommendations on risk mitigation and potential government regulations to offset economic decline. • Build relationships with regional government entities and semi-government foundations/charities to provide grant PepsiCo Foundation funding to address small and medium size businesses need during COVID-19. Develop frameworks for allocation and monitoring of grant funding.
