Project Description:
USAID Sea of Azov Region Tourism Development (2020-21) Achievements: 1. Trainings on the creation of tourist products, cultural and historical heritage in tourism and cluster management of tourist destinations were conducted. It covers more than 500 entrepreneurs, government officials and educational institutions, artists, public figures working in the field of tourism. 2. A powerful advertising campaign for the region's tourist opportunities has been launched. The video Explore Azov and the tourist brand # colorful Azov were created. Azov Tourism Portal 3. A grant program has been launched for entrepreneurs, local authorities and public associations working in the field of tourism in Mariupol (Donetsk Oblast), Berdyansk and Melitopol Raions (Zaporizhia Oblast). On August 6, 2021, a similar grant program for Henichesk and Kakhovka Raions of Kherson Oblast was completed. 4. The Road Map of Tourism Development of the Azov Region 2021-2030 has been created. 200 pages, which contain an analysis of the current situation, development strategy and macro destination management system. 5. Azov DMO and Azov Supervisory Board were created. Azov Tourist Information Centers network development. 6. Extension of tourist season activities: development of SPA & Health resorts; increasing of MICE facilities; development of new festival, ethnic and cultural tourism products. 7. Creation of the Melitopol Cherry Museum Concept and Mariupol Tourism Infrastructure Investment Strategy. 8. Organization and holding of events, forums, competitions, meetings, etc.

Free Economical Zones "InterPorts" (1993-94) I was engaged (deputy lead) in creation of the concept of free economic zones – Inter Ports in Ukraine’ development, headed group of investments researching for Gostomel airport (Antonov’s Aviation Plant), took part and headed delegations in negotiations with foreign investors in Switzerland, Moscow, Kyiv, Lviv.

Youth Hostels Chain Creation in Ukraine (1999-2012) Creation of first youth hostel and development of the hostel network in Ukraine incl. creation of standard, international affairs, market research, outsource management, staff training, etc. Trade mark "Youth Tourism & Hostels of Ukraine" is created on the basis of Incoming Tour Operator SunCiy Travel in August, 2004 and is a travel section of the Ukrainian Youth Tourist Association. The purpose of creation of the trade mark is creation of Youth Travel Network in Ukraine, improvement of service of young tourists in Ukraine, creation of a network of youth hotels of new generation and new youth tours and programs. Now it is a hostel chain operator, offers different tourist programs for youth and children from Ukraine and abroad. The hostel chain "Youth Tourism & Hostels of Ukraine" unites 14 properties in different cities and resorts of Ukraine. TM "Youth Tourism & Hostels of Ukraine" in cooperation with Worldwide Youth Travel Network HostelsClub works for organization and online booking of tour packages and tours across Ukraine. Since January, 2008 a booking of 23 tours in Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa, Chernihiv, Transcarpathia, Crimea and other regions will be carried out.

Student Travel Laboratory (2005-09) Scientifically-Experimantal Center "Student Travel Laboratory" is created in 2006 at Institute of International Affairs of the National Aviation University on faculty "Tourism" with assistance of Ukrainian Youth Tourist Association on the basis of tour operator SunCity Ltd. The purpose of creation of laboratory is fastening in practice by students of I-IV levels of a speciality "Tourism" the knowledge got during studies. The educational laboratory consists of following departments: - Booking and sales (includes DMC team) - Marketing (includes PR team, advertising team and analytical team) - Transport (includes transportations team and logistics team) - Financial-legacy - Innovative (includes hostelling team and fundraising team) Activities of the Laboratory is constructed on real reproduction of activity of full-function incoming tour operator. Students-employees of the Laboratory work with real orders and partners.
