As a Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at the sovereign wealth fund of Bahrain, I led the strategic and operational oversight of 20 domestic holdings in various sectors, such as industrials, construction, and real estate. I have a CPA certification and over 11 years of experience as a Board Advisor and Director, with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end transformations and guidance for investment funds and family enterprises.
My value proposition is my ability to act as a trusted advisor and coach to help businesses assess market conditions and identify growth levers and opportunities and implement change projects. I am well-versed in building collaborative stakeholder relationships at all levels. I also have extensive experience in turning around struggling businesses and increasing dividends and asset values.
In my previous roles, I served inmultiple roles at a GCC family-owned conglomerate: as Head of Corporate Strategy; as Interim CEO of the real estate business; and as the Head of Portfolio Operations of a portfolio with over 60 ventures that were reset from passive to active management.
I am also the Founder of AQL Advisors, an advisory services firm that delivers on Strategy, Transactions, Portfolio Operations and as Interim Executive.
