Ben is an Australian-based senior executive with 20+ years’ experience in building better performing companies, purposeful organisations and great teams. He is an expert in creating, communicating and successfully executing critical strategy, transformation and execution agendas on behalf of Boards, Executives and Ministers in challenging environments. He has effectively developed and implemented multiple domestic and international strategies and transformation programs for large global companies such as Qantas, Brambles and Boral. Ben has a wide range of demonstrated functional expertise across strategy & transformation, corporate development, new market entry, sustainability, regulatory policy, corporate venturing, strategic procurement and execution delivery. His corporate sector and policy areas of expertise include capital-intensive network industries (industrials, construction materials, transport, supply chain, pooling, waste management), sustainability & energy (renewables, green hydrogen, energy firming & security), healthcare (specialist practices, hospitals, diagnostics) and foreign investment (regulatory, incentives, sector prioritisation, funding). Ben is an adaptable and skilled leader of cross-functional and cross-cultural teams in emerging markets, specialising in Asia (Japan, Korea, China, Thailand, Malaysia) and the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Afghanistan, Turkey). He also has a demonstrated record of leading global teams across traditional North American, European and ANZ markets. Ben’s unique capabilities have been deployed across a diverse range of organizations; ASX multi-nationals, private equity backed businesses, corporate start-up ventures and national government Ministries. Ben is a trained lawyer and has a deep understanding of regulation and public policy as a Fulbright Scholar with a Master of Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
