Selected Project Experience

Project Description:
For a $9B+ global water management company, I led a GTM strategy initiative for an entry into the water dispensing segment. My approach included comprehensive analysis of the dispensing segment including competitors, growth, customers, and profit pools. Based on detail assessment of customer needs, I outlined a range of product specifications to capture optimal share upon entry. I assessed internal strengths of the client such as branding, sales, operations, customer service and distribution to recommend improvement needs and strengths. I crafted a set of winning strategies for focused and rapid market penetration supported by an aligned portfolio of products, optimize sales organization and distribution plans.

Project Description:
For a $10B Packaged Foods company, I led the development of an R&D portfolio resource optimization tool to enable better visibility, understanding and decision making for resource allocation / effort alignment to project the innovation pipeline value creation. We assessed resource time commitments, ability to forecast based upon historical data, and needed level of increased visibility regarding resource allocation and capacity collision. We created a 12-month forecasting data-driven tool to compare and analyze resource utilization, project value, complexity, and constraint to allow for proactive intervention and re-prioritization within R&D. Our analytical tool assisted with value maximization across the portfolio. Our work delivered a data-driven portfolio analysis tool to inform management decisions on maximizing value and balancing R&D efforts and enabled more proactive decision making to prioritize efforts against the highest value and highest complexity projects.

Project Description:
A leading P&C insurance company was interested in entering an adjacent insurance market for travel insurance. I was brought in to lead ideation and feasibility. I conducted extensive market research to understand the dynamics of the travel insurance market including characteristics of the leaders and requirements for success in addition to identifying the core customer needs. I developed insightful recommendations for the core product that would deliver a differentiated value proposition. Based on the industry structure, I recommended GTM strategies that would create a competitive advantage over existing incumbents for attractive sub-segments of customers.
