This involved supervision of the direction other parallel projects were taking, to ensure key dependencies were met and the projects were run within budget and in line with stakeholder expectations. Key Responsibilities • Reporting to the Global Operations Leader, a major aspect of this role was managing the relationships between key stakeholders in the UK and the US • Defining the appropriate Life Cycle (waterfall/agile/proprietary) to use to enable the migration, for enhancements development and system integrations • Develop, update, communicate and implement the migration project plan, defining the requirements and delivery milestones, resisting project creep, understanding RPIs to drive and meet KPIs • Management of multiple teams across multiple global locations in different functions and different companies (subsidiaries and subcontractors), matrix managing teams of 50+ individuals across all organizations through the control of internal, client and offshore teams • Execution and supervision of all processes including scope definition, scheduling, human resource and data migration planning, risk and opportunity management, cost and budget management, quality assurance, integration hub setup and business readiness planning. • Project financial management including forecasting, budgeting and reporting Key Achievements • Strong stakeholder engagement to C level and resulting project steer influence ensured a successful delivery on time, on budget and to the required quality despite some entrenched dissent of direction • Brought together Key Persons from across 3 continents for a series of Focus workshops to enable the creation of a Recovery Plan for the project behind schedule, and the recuperation of timescales • Helped set up formal escalation paths for first line issue management and an integration hub as communication portal and the issue last line of defense both urgent and non-urgent situations • Validated the company and supply chain journey for data workflows and formulated the stress test of post-migration cross-functional scenarios • Managed the design, implementation and communications of the employee journey through the new system and between it and other integrations (SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite Financials)
