Led $500MM+ (USD) business unit in revenue, P&L delivery, and three different manufacturing sites. Oversaw and prioritized strong beverage and grocery brand portfolio, including Tang, Crystal Light, Royal desserts, Jell-o gelatin and local leading beverage RTD brands (i.e., Maguari) . Set up clear three-year profitable growth strategic direction and improved innovative pipeline plan for beverage portfolio (which became the model for LATAM). Through this, drove important SOM turnaround in core Tang brand and designed Crystal Light regional rollout plan to firmly establish brand in Brazil.

Led Puerto Rico’s number-one multinational food and beverages company, Dominican Republic affiliate, and Kraft’s third-most profitable operation in Latin America with combined $175MM+ in sales. Spearheaded overall unit leadership and P&L delivery, and directed country relations (master distributors, government, trade). Oversaw two record setting years in terms of profitability for Puerto Rico operation. Drove three years of double-digit sales and profit growth in DR via Tang marketing and distribution plans. Negotiated step- change biscuits distribution alliance for mom & pop channel with Holsum (number-one bread player).

Directed overall leadership for sales and marketing functions with team of 300-plus people and $400MM + revenue accountability. Set up effective commercial processes to ensure synergy and maximize effectiveness of cross-functional areas. Negotiated and closed cheese distribution alliance with Sigma (number-one processed meats company in Mexico).

Led 40-plus employee team overseeing marketing, corporate strategy, and external development (M&A, JV). Drove Tang beverage brand re-launch and product revamp to “more naturality” with marketing team. Carried out powder drinks step change aisle reinvention program in key clients with trade marketing team. Developed external growth plan for company, leading to cheese distribution alliance and RTD beverages entry via Clight brand. Achieved two consecutive record-setting years in revenues and profits with SOM gains in beverages and cheese.
