Bio Summary

Jay has over 25 years of professional experience (21 of which are in Oil & Gas) in the supply chain, procurement, finance, and enterprise asset management fields. He has in-depth experience in all facets of software development, solution architecture, ERP system implementation, and system / software integration. He specializes in supply chain, inventory, finance, procure-to-pay, work management, asset management, and purchasing processes. As an employee and a member of multiple consulting organizations, he has worked in the Public Sector (state and local governments), Oil & Gas, Utilities, Power Generation, and Financial industries. He has performed numerous ERP implementations requiring financial system interfaces, functional requirements, technical requirements, and overall system architecture design. He has solid experience leading all stages of system / software development efforts, including requirements definition, software design, change orders, system architecture development (including the supervision of any interfaces to outlying systems), development of in-depth system test plans, large-scale implementation, and on-going functional / technical support. He is extremely talented at developing all aspects of documentation – from robust, detailed project plans, to project / system documentation – from user manuals and overview documents, to technical / business specifications (e.g., change orders involving interface modifications or new functionality), to overall client policy / procedures that arise out of the project’s change management component. He possesses outstanding leadership abilities and is a true team player who freely shares his knowledge with every team member. As a very gifted business process consultant, Jay can analyze complex situations, break them down into their fundamental component parts very quickly, display them visually in a clear and concise manner, and explain them to others in a manner that achieves full understanding.
