A deep-dive analysis of the project spanned: baselining current health issues related with sugar consumption (e.g, diabetes), current use of sugar in production or within households, etc. extracting lessons learned from benchmarks regarding direct and indirect types of taxes related to sugar (i.e., direct is the sugar tax itself, indirect is the sugary drink tax like soda); assessing the impact of implementing the tax from a healthcare and financial perspectives and deriving recommendations. Project Description:
An international schools’ operator based in a GCC country mandated Strategy& to review its school delivery model across the whole school delivery value chain. During the course of the project, I had the chance to work on different fronts including: real estate (from acquiring a land to the actual construction and licensing work for the school), school operating model design (following a market assessment and demand analysis to decide on the best school model, curriculum to be provided, expected attendance, etc.), recruitment (deciding on the best approach to recruit the school principal and how to revamp current recruiting policies to attract the highest calibers with the most attractive and advantageous compensation and benefits scheme), ancillary services (reviewing all types of services needed within a school and revamping current supply chain) and operations.
