Manuel is a management consultant focused on economic development and social impact with experience working in 15+ countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

He currently works at Strategy& in the Middle East, where he leads projects to drive economic growth. Manuel is a highly content-driven individual and has specialized in the modernization of government institutions, the development of the private sector, and the creation of innovation ecosystems. He typically manages teams of 2 to 5 consultants and advises heads of government entities across the Middle East.

In addition to his public sector experience, Manuel has worked with large corporates, startups, private equity firms, and sovereign wealth funds on a number of strategic projects across a variety of industries.

Furthermore, Manuel has worked as a contractor/ independent consultant on several social impact initiatives across the world, many of which were related to microfinance and entrepreneurship in low-income countries. He has built expertise on how to enable individuals living in distressed situations to overcome poverty traps and has developed a thorough understanding of how to design interventions to address unmet societal needs of the base of the pyramid.
