Over the course of her twenty-year career, Mobola has gained a diverse set of accomplishments in private equity, management consulting and finance. At Alitheia Capital, she managed a family of impact funds that channelled smart capital into key growth sectors with an ESG-integrated investment strategy. In her most recent role as Partner in the uMunthu Fund, she built a portfolio of growth stage investments in financial services/fintech, mobility, energy and agribusiness. Post investment, via board level representation and non-financial support, she worked to create value by playing an active role in the companies’ development and the evolution of their strategy.
Recently, Mobola had the privilege of co-creating a pioneering gender-focused fund which leverages the power of gender diversity for superior performance. She has also advised on the development innovative interventions in the renewable energy space, working with multinationals and international funders to catalyze investment in sustainable off-grid energy solutions. Mobola has held portfolio and non-portfolio related non-executive director (NED) positions on company boards and is on the investment committee of a development finance institution.
Mobola is a London Business School Sloan 2021 Fellow with the particular skills of careful listening and thoughtful leadership.
