I started my career in consulting in the People & Organizational Change (Advisory) practice at Ernst & Young (EY) in New York City. I worked on a few large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects that inspired me to apply the technology I learned, and build out the implementation process, for my family garment manufacturing business in South India. I remain on the board of that business and currently, I head Sales & Business Development (Strategy & Operations) for a local organic and hydroponic farm that I co-founded. I led the charge on developing and executing the business plan– from market research, competitive analysis, identifying the right technology partner, procuring the land, developing our marketing and sales channels, compiling our business financials, all the way to creating and growing our strategic plan. Today our products retail at the leading supermarket chains and we supply to the leading wholesalers across UAE. Building this farm and business from the ground-up has given me immeasurable experience in every department of business, making me a passionate leader and team player. I am addicted to constant improvement, growth and expansion – my business is at a stage where it does not need me day-to-day and I am looking for a new role and the next challenge.
