Vice President – Marketing (1998 – 2007) • Overall leader of Marketing for Luxottica Retail for a ten-year period. Responsible for all aspects of national and local marketing—advertising, media, digital, and customer retention. • Responsible for a $200M marketing budget across five retail brands, 50+ marketing Associates and multiple outside agencies. • Integrated multiple acquisitions into Luxottica Retail—Ray Ban, Oakley, Sunglass Hut, Pearle Vision, Target Optical, Sears Optical and Detroit Optical Company. • Developed comprehensive marketing plans including national advertising campaigns. • Managed contact lens e-commerce sites, significantly growing the business each year. • Key leader for the review and selection of key partners for both media and advertising agencies.
