Dr. Thomas K. Hamann is the Executive Director of T. K. Hamann Gesellschaft mbH.  He started his career with McKinsey & Company in 1999 and worked there until December 2005.  He has also worked for Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche Aktiengesellschaft, acting as a Project Manager for the Group-Wide Porsche Improvement Process, and for top-management consultancies (i.a., Bain & Company) as a Principal serving various clients, primarily in the automotive industry in Germany, China, and Turkey.

Dr. Hamann focuses on strategic management, sales & marketing, leadership & organization, and operational excellence issues.  Moreover, he scientifically works on business wargaming and quantitative simulations of demand behavior; he regularly publishes the results of his research work.
