WHAT YOU'LL DO You will help build and sometimes lead new disruptive digital businesses for large organizations, driving lasting innovation. This role provides the opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy consulting, technology and new ways of working. Depending on client needs, you will work with a team to either create a new digital unit for an existing business, or incubate and ultimately scale a new stand-alone business. In both contexts, we start with a strong mandate for innovation and seed teams with Digital Labs practitioners—product owners, user-centric designers, engineers, agile experts and more—and a strong interim leadership team to operate the new entity. Together with your team, you will create a vision and road map. The new digital unit will look, feel and operate like a start-up and be a center of innovation. You will leverage your combination of start-up and corporate experience, applying smart and pragmatic approaches to business building to help to architect the future path of enterprise.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in a technical field; MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred
7+ years of experience with 2+ years of consulting experience in a top-tier management consultancy, or equivalent large scale corporate work
2+ years of experience in founding and leading a rapidly growing start-up or as an executive in the start-up ecosystem
Experience in all aspects of building a high-growth company and teams, including: concept, value proposition, strategy, funding, technology, branding, Go-To-Market strategy, and team building
Experience and expertise driving rapid and successful digital transformation, helping to frame, design, and execute solutions for challenging business problems
Extensive experience leading cross-functional teams and managing technical or analytics teams, both on- and off-shore
Experience working with and closely managing C-Level corporate stakeholders
Willingness to learn our way of working, or the 'McKinsey toolkit'
Sophisticated executive demeanor; comfortable functioning at the highest levels of client organizations
