The A&M Global Transaction Advisory Group ("TAG") is the largest transaction advisory (financial due diligence) practice outside the Big 4 audit firms. Our global TAG team includes over 600 professionals throughout US, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, India and Asia Pacific. Our Middle East team is highly experienced & they are led by an established and highly regarded Managing Director. Our Middle East TAG team was setup just over a year ago and has earned an exceptional reputation for excellent work. They are highly active across the region working for sovereign wealth funds, global and regional private equity firms, multinational corporations and family offices on M&A and capital markets transactions in the Middle East and internationally.

A&M TAG have a unique delivery model that enables extensive exposure to high profile clients, Managing Directors thus empowering individuals to fast-track their careers and development. We are expanding, and we are looking for experienced and ambitious Directors and Senior Directors to join our TAG teams in Riyadh, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Candidates should have a successful track record at a leading Advisory firm and they will be able to contribute to the growth of the practice through strengthening the Middle East business, broadening routes to market and leveraging senior relationships across the region. The successful appointee will be an expert in selling and delivering financial due diligence advisory assignments.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with our Managing Directors in the Middle East and across the globe on business development activities including thought leadership, proposals, pitches and networking Support our Managing Director(s) to lead and develop the Middle East Transaction Advisory team, including recruiting, training, and coaching team members Lead and deliver multiple Transaction Advisory engagements across the Middle East and internationally Work with a variety of sovereign wealth funds, large-cap and mid-cap private equity houses, corporate clients and financial institutions Use the commercial aspects of your financial analysis skills, in addition to analysing the key drivers and valuation considerations that drive a transaction Work alongside operational/technical, commercial, tax and other due diligence professionals in integrated due diligence project teams enhancing your understanding of the broader due diligence and wider deal process Network with our service lines and work on external marketing events to build cross-service line relationships Be active in the external market, supporting and enhancing existing client relationships and developing new client relationships Contribute to the development of the wider team through the provision of formal and informal training A&M is an environment that presents a real opportunity for ambitious individuals and Directors and Senior Directors are expected to develop a client network.

The ideal candidate will have:

Senior level experience (8+ years) in Transaction Advisory (Financial Due Diligence) at a Big 4 audit firm (this is essential, and preferably gained fully or partially in the Middle East Strong academic record and a relevant professional qualification Well-developed stakeholder management skills including managing key client relationships and networking / business development Experience providing Financial Due Diligence and SPA support across a variety of sectors Excellent oral and written communication skills Fluent business level English is essential. Additional language skills including Arabic are highly advantageous Highly ambitious and motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset, deep functional knowledge and insight, a blend of operational and commercial skills and an entrepreneurial approach. Client network which extends across the sovereign wealth fund, private equity and corporate community in the Middle East, and with business leaders more broadly. They will be seen as a trusted advisor.
