WHAT YOU'LL DO

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Compliance Senior Analyst to join the Global Compliance team as part of the Compliance Centre of Excellence at BCG. The role provides an unparalleled entry point for the right candidate to be part of a continuously improving Compliance team for a global consulting firm that partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. The Compliance team provides support, guidance and oversight on critical compliance topics that anchor how BCG employees support each other, their clients, and the business – with policies, processes, and systems which BCG continuously improve. The team develops and implements smart capabilities, toolkits, frameworks and training to empower BCG employees to act in accordance with the values and code of conduct, and to promote adherence to laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies and procedures. The role will report to the Global Risk and Compliance Senior Director, who leads the Compliance Centre of Excellence, and support the day-to-day management of the Global Compliance team. Responsibilities will include coordinating the global compliance program, plus facilitating global compliance events, campaigns, and ad hoc activities, with our compliance counterparts in geographies around the world. The successful candidate must maintain strong relationships across a broad stakeholder remit. Key stakeholders include Subject Matter Expert and Regional Compliance teams; the Risk and Compliance MDP Node network; and other Global Service functions and Business Support teams, such as Legal and Finance.

Global Compliance Network Management Plan, organize and execute monthly meetings and ad hoc workshops with BCG’s Risk and Compliance MDP network (i.e., scheduling global calls, preparing meeting agenda and materials, coordinating room bookings and tracking meeting follow ups) Plan, organise and coordinate the Compliance Workshop at the Worldwide Wide Officers Meet twice a year Maintain Node Job Descriptions, Node Org Charts, Email distribution lists on an ongoing basis Be the operational liaison between the Centre of Excellence, Subject Matter Experts and Regional Compliance teams to ensure a smooth and accurate flow of information between all stakeholders Identify and support individuals that carry out risk and compliance activities in business support teams operating in local offices (‘compliance champions’) Compliance Program and Operating Model Support the Global Risk and Compliance Senior Director with the compliance target operating model i.e., by contributing to the onboarding and training of new hires within the function Help the Global Compliance team by delivering day-to-day tasks relating to compliance programs (e.g., setting up and preparing agendas for correspondence/meetings, drafting presentations for MDP meetings, global compliance trainings roll out) Ensure the smooth running of the Global Compliance teams governance and operations commitments, e.g., maintain structure charts, the compliance shared drive, and sharepoint sites Manage the Global Compliance team’s participation in the North-eastern University intern program. Responsibilities include leading the hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing mentoring of a University Undergraduate every 6 months Assist with the review and ongoing maintenance of compliance manuals/policies/standards and identify opportunities for ongoing improvements (including automation and digitalisation of workflows where possible) Work closely with the Regional Compliance teams as the point of contact on global policies/frameworks roll-out and queries Support the Compliance team with responding to queries that are sent into the Global Compliance mailbox Global Compliance Reporting Manage the timely preparation of compliance reports for Boards, Committees and Management Compile management reports, summary analyses, and detailed presentations to describe compliance risks, controls, and maturity assessments Collate regular management information updates, such as monthly compliance updates for the Global Compliance team Global Compliance Campaigns Support with the execution of large-scale compliance campaigns that are run out of the Centre of Excellence such as the annual Insider Trading Program and Compliance Training Campaigns

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Experience influencing staff of all levels of an international and matrix-based working environment Confident engaging with cross functional stakeholders at all levels to drive decision making Ability to develop and improve working methods independently High integrity, flexibility, willingness to progress initiatives while demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and independence Fluent business English (spoken and written); additional languages desirable

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

An academic degree in a relevant discipline. Advanced degree preferred Minimum 3 years relevant experience in compliance/ or other risk management discipline such as audit, fraud examination, quality control, risk analysis within a financial/ banking institution, professional services or consulting firm Strong knowledge and ‘know-how’ of compliance topics such as, but not limited to, bribery and corruption, insider trading, conflicts of interest, third party risk and information management. Comfortable with, and preferably advanced knowledge of, Microsoft Office (Power point, Excel, Word), Trello, exposure to business intelligence tools: Tableau, Power BI A genuine intellectual curiosity to understand BCG’s scope of activity in the market Commitment to confidentiality required
