Job description In the UK and Ireland, Sia Partners Energy, Utilities and Environment practice works electricity, gas and water utilities, regulators, energy suppliers and infrastructure funds on a variety of projects. We support our clients in a variety of areas including:

Economic regulation and business planning; Stakeholder and Customer engagement improvement strategies; Social and environmental value analysis + ESG strategy; Network management and improved system operation; Energy transition e.g. Biogas, EV planning, hydrogen, smart meters, renewable energy; Market analysis and due diligence support; Water sector innovation; Energy trading and risk management Digital, data & technology adoption to enhance stakeholder outcomes Sia Partners has over 300 consultants focussed on Energy, Utilities and Environment located in our Paris, London, Edinburgh, Dublin, Brussels, Antwerp and Amsterdam offices. Each office works closely together to deliver an integrated solution for our clients.

We are continuing to expand our consulting business in the UK and Ireland and are looking for talented people who are committed to building relationships and delivering results.

We're currently looking for Consultants with experience that might include exposure to projects in economic regulation, customer engagement, smart meters, EV, H2, electricity network management and water sector innovation.

As a Consultant, you will be responsible for…

Delivering high quality work with some oversight; Supporting the delivery of projects, potentially working across several clients in the UK and, if required, support overseas engagements; Supporting the development of content and pitches for practice-related opportunities and proposals; Assisting in marketing campaigns and overall external positioning of Sia Partners & your practice across social networks; Identifying and referring opportunities on projects through industry news awareness, networking and initiative Facilitating own learning by self-study and receive training from more Senior members of the organisation; Interacting with other industry teams within Sia Partners to share information.

Qualifications 1-3 years Consulting experience or other relevant experience in the Energy Industry e.g. utilities regulator, supplier or infrastructure fund; Strong interest in the Energy and Water sectors; Excellent written and verbal communications skills; Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills; Excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills; The ability to adapt rapidly, and work on a range of different business areas within a challenging environment and keeping to tight deadlines; Experience in one or more of the following areas: Business Case development, Energy Strategy, Trading Portfolio & Risk Management, Digitalisation of operations, Asset Data Management, Regulatory Reporting, Digital Customer Experience. A demonstrable understanding of the energy value chain;
