ABOUT THE LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE ROLE A core part of Dalberg's mission is to help build future leaders in the social impact sector and maximize the impact that they and Dalberg can have on the world. As part of this, Dalberg is looking to build a more robust learning and development function to design, coordinate and implement our global and regional training offerings. This function will be led by the Global Training Team in collaboration with regional and business-specific training teams and governance committees.

The Learning & Development (L&D) Operations Associate role in the Global Training Team will serve to execute and bring to life training activity within the firm. The L&D Operations Associate will work closely under the supervision of the Global L&D Manager. The L&D Operations Associate will be tasked with: event planning and execution of in-person and virtual global trainings; updating and maintaining high quality training content and systems; and creating thoughtful and compelling communications channels to help staff engage with training resources fully;.

ABOUT YOU You have a natural curiosity about the world and especially around understanding how and why social impact happens when it does. You are a self-starter and problem solver who takes ownership mentality and identifies problems to solve and acts on what is needed to get results. You have demonstrated ability to work across business functions, including excellent customer service and strong facilitation skills and are highly adept at managing stakeholders across all levels of seniority. You have a high level of comfort with and embrace technology and systems as a solution. You have experience with training content generation, management, and systems as well as comfort working with communications, marketing and publications professionals. You are comfortable with ambiguity, like the space to work independently without too much regular, ongoing interference. You are a team player that knows how to build consensus and are willing to give and receive honest feedback, including supporting junior team members with their own growth and performance. You are open to travel during the role, notably 6-8 times per year, to execute our in-person trainings. SPECIFIC SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

2-3 years of work experience, with at least 1-2 years in an HR administrative or program operations role. Experience planning and executing complex in-person and virtual events highly desired. Experience in learning and development is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English, and fluency in French or Spanish is a plus. Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team. Superior organizational and time management skills. Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including on supporting budgeting and cost estimates. Prior experience in customer/ client service roles is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail in all domains of work. Note: Employment in all the Dalberg offices is conditional on the candidate having or obtaining the requisite authorization to live and work in that country.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AND HOW YOU WILL GROW Coordinating, designing and executing global training programs (50%):

Execute 10 global training programs annually, providing planning and day-of capacity. Of these programs, 6 will be conducted in-person and will require on-the-ground presence and support. Responsible for sourcing locations and accommodations, presenting costs / benefits to support decision making, managing participant enrollment, executing communications to participants and facilitators, troubleshooting issues day-of, and technical and logistics support. Conduct periodic measurement and evaluation for global trainings, including developing and drafting reporting with L&D Manager for relevant governance committees. Managing design and uptake of global training assets and systems (30%):

Manage new and existing training assets and systems, including quality and relevance checks on existing materials on our SharePoint site and managing external vendors (e.g., Kubicle). Create consistent and thoughtful communications for both (1) staff inquiries, serving as points of contact and experts on available training assets and systems; and (2) staff adoption of training resources, including coordinating with internal strategic communications teams and knowledge management team. Coordinating and supporting regional and local training efforts (20%):

Participate in quarterly discussions with regional training teams, with the support of the L&D Manager, to document updates to training materials, compile facilitation and delivery recommendations, and catalog external resources.
