Travel is part of this position, but the frequency may vary based on client, team, and individual circumstances.

WHAT YOU'LL DO We now have a number of Manchester based opportunities within our formal insolvency team, an integral part of the wider TRS practice. The team is involved in formal insolvency cases from the outset – managing a portfolio of approximately 120 cases - taking responsibility for statutory duties, creditor communications, asset realisations, investigations, employee redundancies, claims and correspondence, and case closure. Cases can range from administrations, liquidations, receiverships, and company voluntary arrangements. Additionally, the team is involved in many strategic projects, including designing and implementing new practice systems, polices, and internal training programmes.

This individual will work on a range of formal insolvency engagements and the opportunity would suit an intelligent, enthusiastic, organised and committed individual.

Ability to exercise sound judgement and apply technical knowledge, prioritise effectively, work well as part of a team, demonstrate commerciality, problem solving skills and awareness of the ‘big picture’ are key requisite skills.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

Bachelor or Masters degree Post-graduate experience in a professional services or corporate environment would be desirable for an experienced hire - directly relevant to insolvency would be an advantage. An interest in financial accounting principles. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages would be advantageous. Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong interpersonal abilities, working well with colleagues across TRS The ability to use your own initiative and problem solve with a ‘can do’. Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks, keeping to tight and structured deadlines.
