Kearney is seeking an exceptional strategy professional to join the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) at the Senior Associate or Manager level. This individual will work with Banking, Insurance, and Payments clients throughout North America to help drive value creation for our clients, as well as help develop strategies and programs for growth and improved performance and profitability. The right candidate will possess content, delivery and client/teaming skills along with a commercial orientation. We particularly look for experience in Digital Transformation, Data & Analytics, Strategic Operations, and Mergers and Integration.

Who you are

Domain Expertise: Thoroughly understands business models, operating models, financials, industry innovation and the competitive terrain within the banking, insurance and payments category; rigorously analyzes complex business challenges with capability to generate key insights.

Strategic Capabilities: Experience in the delivery of banking, insurance and payments strategy consulting projects; Experience and track record of helping clients develop competitive advantage (i.e., tangible business results stemming from new business or product/proposition launch, organization/operating model implementation, digital transformation, data & analytics, cost transformation, and/or capability development).

Communication & Influence: Highly articulate and able to convey important messages in a clear and compelling manner. Brings presence in meetings and high caliber client/communications skills. Builds and sustains relationships to ensure seamless integration and flawless execution.  

Teaming Skills: Demonstrated ability to contribute to high-impact engagement teams. Collaborative by nature and a team player.  An interest & commitment to contributing to high performance teams – a great colleague and team member.

Role-specific requirements:

Associate:

MBA degree preferred with 5-10 years of professional experience

Experienced working as a Management Consultant strongly preferred

The base salary range for the Associate role (post MBA) is $188,000 - $194,000. However, it is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
