A Corporate Development Services career, within Deals, offers you the opportunity to help clients understand and build optionality and primacy to execute Corporate Development strategies that facilitate strategic decisions. You will partner with your clients to assess and shepherd, while supporting execution, oversight and governance structure development, the solving of complex investment and critical business issues from ideation to execution across the full spectrum of the M&A lifecycle.

Minimum Years of Experience: 7 year(s) with 1-2 years non-consulting experience, 3-4 years leadership and/or management experience (direct and/or matrixed), and/or 4-5 years experience in corporate development, investment banking or M&A related roles.Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

CD Managers support clients through all stages of the deals continuum under their review, direction, & approval, and demonstrate extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader including the following:

  • Interacting with C-Suite executives & Functional leaders;

  • Leading, coaching and developing teams and cross-functional stakeholders in fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environments to achieve multiple competing priorities simultaneously with minimal direction;

  • Building collaborative relationships with team members and internal, client and external stakeholders (e.g., law firms, investment banks and counterparty C-Suites), fostering a productive teamwork environment, leading teams to achieve a common vision, soliciting and leveraging diverse views, encouraging innovation, delegating to provide stretch opportunities and developing team members;

  • Supporting development of business visions and execution of complex projects while functioning as a trusted advisor at the highest levels of client organizations;

  • Assisting clients to rapidly understand critical to quality elements to the Deal and make recommendations on how to proceed;

  • Leading the development and execution of quantitative and qualitative analysis of complex and unrelated data sets to synthesize concise and relevant recommendations;

  • Leveraging understanding of how business model decisions impact operating model design/execution across operations, technology, risk governance, and organizational design to deliver actionable recommendations;

  • Writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently; to and/or for all levels of audiences, clients and internal staff and management;

  • Multi-tasking and balancing time effectively, keeping a rapid pace without sacrificing quality;

  • Displaying intellectual curiosity, a drive to solve complex problems and the ability to ask difficult questions in a constructive manner;

  • Leading working sessions of medium to large sized groups;

  • Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information;

  • Advanced experience working in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook);

  • Demonstrating experience in financial modeling, including financial statement analysis, valuation, and comparable analysis; and,

  • Demonstrating experience with advanced research and digital enabling tools (PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, Capital IQ Pro, Pitchbook, AlphaSense, etc.).
