The App Development (AppDev) Ads business helps App Developers across the app marketing lifecycle from launching new apps to reengaging existing Google Customer Solutions customers.


In this role, you will be responsible for developing the analytical aspects of our AppDev go-to-market strategy. You will learn more about the exciting, fast-growing world of app businesses (e.g. gaming), by addressing highly ambiguous business challenges and ensuring the smooth execution and implementation of these solutions through the global AppDev Sales teams. You will also get exposure to executive stakeholders across the business and globally while working on these high-impact projects.

Our teams of strategists, analysts, advisers and support specialists collaborate closely to spot and analyze customer needs and trends. In collaboration, we create and implement business plans broadly for all types of businesses.

Responsibilities


  • Analyze business drivers, trends, and operating metrics to drive actionable insights for executive business reviews.
  • Partner closely with other cross-functional teams to drive strategic and operational alignment on key initiatives.
  • Drive various cross-functional projects and planning initiatives, and own parts of larger team initiatives both on an on-going basis and on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Be an excellent communicator, an agile and creative problem solver, build relationships and collaborate across functions, and drive organizational-wide impact.
  • Prepare presentations and communicate findings from initiatives to management and the broader organization.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or equivalent field.
  • 2 years of experience manipulating data sets using SQL, analyzing datasets, and converting them into actionable insights.
  • Experience in project management across multiple priorities.


Preferred qualifications:


  • Ability to take complex data and translate into a meaningful and coherent story with real-time visualization dashboards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing, ambiguous, and dynamic environment, with an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Excellent communications skills, and ability to structure a compelling storyline and build presentation decks/briefing documents.
  • Long-term strategic thinking, balanced with near-term execution skills.
  • Operational excellence combined with excellent business acumen, problem solving, project management, and analytical skills.
