As a Sales Strategy Lead for Local Services Ads, you will develop and implement the product’s go-to-market strategy for third-party partners including agencies, channel partners, and customers. You will drive adoption of Local Services Ads with teams and lead improvements in product development, product positioning, business incentives, external marketing, and training.

In collaboration, we create and implement business plans broadly for all types of businesses.

Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for Local Services Ads with third-party partners.
  • Identify and prioritize product, support, and operations needs for partners. Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to build the product and process roadmaps to address needs.
  • Manage the launch of products and features for partners. Develop training materials and communication documents for Google teams to enable third-party growth.
  • Oversee management of Local Services Ads customers.
  • Launch and run trials with partners including design, goals, launch, troubleshooting, and expansion.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in strategy, consulting, or business operations.
  • Experience leading operational initiatives.


Preferred qualifications:


  • Experience in business development or customer sales.
  • Experience working with Product Management, Product Operations, and Sales teams.
  • Ability to influence across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.


  • Ability to take initiative and work an ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent business judgment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, analytical, leadership, and project management skills.
