Your expertise of Google's products and our partners' businesses allow you to identify new opportunities for their growth, launch new products, and expand the impact of our clients' work. You possess strong relationship-building skills and are apt to work effectively with Google's partners, in order to best represent our users, products and programs and drive growth.



The Google Photos Partnerships Team is responsible for driving a set of prioritized business development initiatives to catalyze our business generation and ecosystem north star metrics. This includes working with our most strategic original equipment manufacturer partners and other third-party ecosystem partners, to build upon existing partnership foundations while seeking out new business opportunities.



As part of this entrepreneurial team, you will help define the partnership road map and develop the Google Photos Partner ecosystem to ensure our users have high quality experiences across a variety of products and surfaces. You'll work with internal and external partners. You'll play a critical role in continuing to achieve goals via third-party integrations and related first-party apps with Google Photos.

Our team provides meaningful solutions — from helping publishers and developers grow their businesses through monetization solutions, to helping our long-term partners anticipate and navigate change in a way that delivers economic and reputational value. We build and distribute products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Ads, Search & Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Health, Retail, Payments, Next Billion Users, and more. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.

Responsibilities


  • Become a critical business development point-of-contact within Google Photos for prospective external and internal partners. Cultivate and maintain strong direct relationships with existing partners.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (e.g. Product Management, Design, and Marketing) to structure and execute business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis, and develop and communicate final recommendations.
  • Administer the contractual elements of partnerships through term sheets, new agreements, amendments, extensions, renewals, etc. Develop prioritization schema for our initiatives and pipeline, and source and develop new opportunities across a variety of industries that could benefit from Google Photos.
  • Travel for partnership meetings and key conferences.
  • Identify, drive, and optimize all partnerships and integrations, and become the conduit between potential partners and the Product team.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, management consulting, investment banking, strategy, or operations at a technology or media/entertainment company.


Preferred qualifications:


  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • Ability to be comfortable operating in ambiguous scenarios across a variety of partner profiles.
  • Outstanding modeling, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with sound business judgment, thought leadership, and innovation.
