Be part of a team that is transforming BCG into a bionic company! We are seeking a senior leader to bring our Agile vision to reality in the Personal Productivity (PP) space. Our mission is to deliver innovative, best-in-class experiences with high performance, trusted & stable personal productivity products (e.g. laptop, virtual desktops, mobile & tablet devices, productivity applications, etc.) that continuously improve BCGers’ personal productivity & excitement for our tools.

To meet the needs of BCG’s global, fast growing and increasingly diverse business, we need a portfolio of personal productivity tools that seamlessly enables day-to-day work of our staff. In the coming few years, the Tribe Lead will drive progress towards the tribe’s vision along a few key dimensions: Class-leading digital hardware that supports hybrid and next generation ways of working Integrated, modern software experiences enabled by automation UX and data-led innovation Operational excellence The Tribe Lead will work closely with regional, functional and other business leadership to iterate the roadmap and strategy for Personal Productivity and deliver high-value to the firm and our staff. The Tribe Lead will be a thought leader to drive innovation and best practices in the PP space. This role will provide invaluable experience (digital solutioning, thought leadership, team leadership, agile practices, etc.) for any professional wishing to play a leadership role in the bionic future of the business.

You possess a passion for digital solutions and a deep understanding of end-user driven prioritization. You relish the challenge of thinking about how we can improve the day-to-day lives of our case teams and BST. You are also a dedicated and inspiring people manager; you are responsible for facilitating, supporting, and motivating your tribe members. You know how to set strategic directions for your teams and are comfortable stepping out of the way while enabling your Product Owners and Squads to drive and deliver the work. You have an ability to empower and bring out the best in people and enjoy coaching and developing them. You will also drive collaboration and knowledge sharing at all levels of the organization to achieve the best results.

Among your responsibilities, you will: Drive the Tribe’s purpose and ensure alignment with the organization’s business strategy Driving the Tribe priorities, in line with business strategy, Transformation Programs and OKRs Inspiring and empowering Squads to envision, define and build digital solutions, delivering against the Tribe’s objectives and OKRs Using facts, data, and analysis to make hard decisions and trade-offs, especially related to resource allocation and prioritization of work within the Tribe Working closely with Key Stakeholders, Transformation Programs, Product Owners and the Tech Area Lead to drive alignment between Tribe priorities and Squads’ priorities and sprint goals Deliver business results and customer value Setting Objectives for the Tribe and working with product managers to align on goals Specific and measurable OKRs to be defined for each Tribe and Squad Overseeing the Tribe's budget and engaging with organizational funding process Driving large programs that cut across Squads and Tribes Empower and enable Squads to realize their missions Coordinating with Product Owners, Tech Area Lead and Chapter Leads to identify the right resources to support the Tribe’s objectives Engaging regularly (e.g., via daily stand ups) with Product Owners on Squad goals and progress Providing the right level of feedback to enable Squad alignment and autonomy Engage with transformation programs and other key stakeholders to advance the work of the Tribe Ensuring clear acceptance criteria for Squad output and providing feedback on work-in-progress as helpful to ensure alignment Ensuring Product Owners proactively seek out and consider the voice of the customer in defining their priorities and outputs Representing Tribe and Squad interests to senior organization leadership, and escalating blockers as needed Develop and coaching Product Owners and business Chapter Leads Managing and developing direct reports to help improve individual and team performance Regularly collecting and providing continuous feedback as part of performance management process for direct reports

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Total 15+ years’ relevant experience, including a proven track record in a management position, leading large cross-functional teams and solving complex problems for business functions with significant business impact Ideally senior-level experience leading, motivating, coaching, and developing people and cross-functional teams Strong business or technical acumen and a deep strategic mindset Proven track record of delivering results and impact Proven analytical skills and experience making decisions based on hard and soft data A desire and openness to learning and continuous improvement, both of yourself and your team members Strong influencing skills to achieve alignment up and down the organization Commitment to the organization’s new way of working through greater collaboration and breaking down of siloes Experience in Agile methodology and ways of working is a plus Experience in consulting is a plus
