Job description
Sia Partners has ambitious plans for growth in the United States, with Baltimore, Maryland being no exception. We are looking for a Senior Leader in Baltimore to provide leadership for our team, engage and deliver for clients, and focus on growing the market exponentially. This individual will make an immediate impact to the firm by being a first point of contact with new business development efforts from inception through close.
As a Senior Leader in the Wealth Management & Asset Management Business Unit, you will apply your prior management consulting experience to manage key projects and initiatives while managing client engagements for our Financial Services clients. Business development serves as one of the primary areas for success within this role. You will be responsible for leading business development efforts within the market area within the financial services sector. You’ll have the ability to leverage your large network to increase current revenue generation with existing clients while building new business with prospective clients. Collaboration with your peers and Partners of the firm will result in success.

Key Responsibilities
As a core member of the Wealth & Asset Management Practice, you will:
Utilize your network within the Baltimore Market area to leverage for business development
Deliver on a range of client assignments, usually as part of an on-site project team (some travel may be required)
Develop Business Unit, senior stakeholder and senior level presentations for stakeholders
Manage portfolio of work from small to large projects involving platform integration and data conversions
Manage current client relationships and develop a plan to increase revenue
Increase the client platform in the Market Area by bringing in new business to the Market
Work closely with developers to bridge gap between business and technology
Ability to create system flow charts, sequence diagrams, understand system architecture and translating business requirements to technology
Assist in developing thought leadership and building solutions and methods
Develop exceptional trusted advisor relationships with our clients
Identify opportunities for new business and support bid teams with proposals
Contribute to the development of high-quality technical offerings
Support the Sia practice and our people development
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required in business or related field
10+ years of Management Consulting experience in Financial Service, Wealth and Asset Management
Experience managing, developing, and leading successful teams of management consultants
Exceptional ability to network, build a pipeline of opportunities, and lead sales activities
Demonstrates strong Project Management skills, preferably Scrum Master with Agile experience
Demonstrates strong Business Analysis skills: define business requirements, translate requirements into system solution, reporting, creating detailed analysis, etc.
Strong working knowledge across financial services front office, middle office and back-office functions.
Lead teams through daily execution of activities, deliverables, project plans, and client presentations, while championing recruiting efforts to grow the practice
Provide demonstrations to clients throughout the entire project life-cycle; provide technical leadership on project related tasks leveraging tools, templates & methodologies and establishing delivery dates are met
A high level of drive and commitment to deliver high quality work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Act as a supportive team player who actively develops relationships and is eager to share knowledge with colleagues and our clients
The ability to learn new subject matter rapidly and a desire to develop a deep understanding of the trends and challenges shaping Wealth & Asset Management
Flexibility in approach with a willingness to adapt quickly and take initiative when working in unstructured environments with limited supervision
An entrepreneurial mindset, including an excellent ability to uncover new opportunities for account growth and impact
Located in Baltimore, MD and an eligibility to work within the United States

Hybrid Workplace Guidelines
Sia Partners maintains its hybrid workplace arrangements and provides a flexible workplace environment that is driven by client and business/market needs. While our firm does support hybrid work, there are times that we may require our consultants to work onsite at one of our Sia offices or a client office full-time. Consultants are expected to have the ability to be flexible with work location depending upon business needs. When in-between client engagements, Consultants typically work onsite at a local Sia office 2+ times per week.
