We are working with a client in need of a qualified Senior Project Manager to support multiple workstreams within the Government Healthcare Solutions space. This contractor will provide project management and oversight of 4 workstreams (moving an app to cloud, tech debt work on the app; re-engineering of requirements, and building out the app document) within a large-scale client implementation program. In addition, the contractor will work with several other Project Managers to align with inflight projects and monthly releases. Contractor will need to be local, or comfortable with travel to Jackson, MS up to 50% of the time.

Location: Hybrid- (50%) travel to Jackson, MS

Job description Manage complex projects, in support of technology and digital transformation programs, while acting as a liaison between functional domain and business sponsors Provide project management expertise, including supporting and establishing best practices Provide oversight and coordination of test plans and programming activities Develop and manage stakeholder management plan and related routines Provide oversight and mentoring for junior resources, in support of client deliverables Develop and apply subject matter expertise from a domain, product, functional and technical perspective Establish project routines, conduct effective meetings, and ensure progress against established deadlines and deliverables. Collaborate with internal and client project team members, and contribute to internal communications and readiness activity within the program team and with client groups Develop and provide status reporting of progress, dependencies, issues, risks and overall program health Contribute to the development of high-quality and timely deliverables Perform subject matter research and business analysis Assist in the coordination and development of client proposals Support overall practice, thought leadership, and people development Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required in business, or related field 5-7 years of recent client facing management consulting experience 5+ years of experience in a project management environment, with experience working across technology and digital Ability to manage complex technology projects from planning through closure Familiarity in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies Experience working in fast-paced environments and the ability to seek creative solutions to complex business issues. Experience in Finance functions and operations within Financial Services Proven communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Act as a supportive team player who actively develops relationships and is eager to share knowledge with colleagues and our clients Flexibility in approach and a willingness to adapt quickly and take initiative when working in unstructured environments with limited supervision An ability to transform your domain knowledge and project experiences into published content for Sia Partners Insights Additional information Please note that Sia Partners requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. “Fully vaccinated” means that the individual can provide acceptable proof that the individual has received, at least fourteen (14) days prior to the individual’s start date, either the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine, or one dose of a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine.
