Bio

Jatin Arora is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Strategy and Performance Improvement practice in Dubai. With more than 18 years of experience in industry and consulting, he specializes in strategy formulation and execution, M&A (pre and post deal), divestiture, corporate restructuring and performance improvement.
Mr. Arora has worked in the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Based in the Middle East for over a decade, he has worked with multiple clients in public sector, private sector, sovereign wealth funds, private equity, and family-owned businesses. He focuses on industrials, healthcare and the public sector. Prior to joining consulting, he held multiple leadership roles in industry.

Mr. Arora’s notable recent projects in the public sector include developing and implementing an industrial cluster strategy for a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) country; leading a transformation program for a GCC ministry; carving out 20+ operational assets from a GCC regulator for privatization; and defining the rationale and implementation of merger of two government entities in a GCC country. In the private sector, he has developed strategy and operating model for a global industrial products company and led carve-outs and post-merger integration for regional and global companies with footprints across multiple MENA countries.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Arora served as a Senior Director with PwC, focusing on strategy, transformation, commercial and operational due diligence, carve-outs, divestures and post- merger integration. Previously, he worked with Bayer in Germany and led multiple strategic engagements in the life sciences and materials sciences sectors.

Before moving to consulting, Mr. Arora led business and plant operations for an industrial products company in UAE. He started his career with ArvinMeritor, focusing on performance improvement.

Mr. Arora earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Thapar University, an MBA from INSEAD, and a master’s degree in operations management from the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR). He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Motorola University.
