Matthew Palmer is a Managing Director with A&M in Dubai in the Performance Improvement practice.
Throughout his career to date, Mr. Palmer has built a breadth of both industry and functional experience, which provides him with an extremely versatile base of knowledge and experience to inform client advice.

His industry experience spans financial services, real estate and telecoms where, in financial services, he has advised clients at the forefront of digital-only banking, and continues to work with regional leaders to advance their digital-only banking ambitions from concept through to launch.

In real estate, Mr. Palmer has both advised leading, regional developers and successfully led the turnaround of one of the largest facility management companies. In addition, he previously developed and successfully exited a mid-market property development and investment company, in partnership with some of the U.K.'s leading family offices.

In telecoms, Mr. Palmer has worked across all facets of the industry, including corporate strategy, business planning, value proposition, regulatory strategy, network planning and rollout, and executed several, successful operator launches and turnarounds with leading groups across EMEA. This breadth of experience provides Mr. Palmer with a cross-industry view of best-practice, showing him what works and what doesn't.

In addition, Mr. Palmer has experience of running a multimillion pound business ensures that he approaches all business problems from the owner's perspective, and places shareholder value development at the core of all recommendations and actions.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Palmer gained management consulting experience with Delta Partners in Dubai and Johannesburg, and Accenture in London, investment banking experience with Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in London, and property development and investment experience with Palmer Shaw in London. Mr. Palmer earned bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.
