Bio

Armin Lohr leads Boston Consulting Group’s transportation and infrastructure topic in the Middle East and is a core member of the firm’s Industrial Goods, Operations, and Public Sector practices. During his career, Armin has served more than 50 clients in the infrastructure and transportation sectors around the world, working on over 150 engagements. He has functional expertise in strategy, operations, organization, and change management. Armin has broad experience with top ministries, developers, construction companies, infrastructure operators, and transportation companies in the Middle East and globally. He comes from a family of construction engineers and also worked in the family construction business before going into consulting. Recently in the Middle East, he created a strategy for a ministry of housing that planned to build 500,000 homes, designed governance for one of the world's largest contractors, and developed a transportation plan for the transport department of a Middle Eastern country. Before joining BCG, Armin worked for McKinsey & Company for 19 years, first in Vienna and more recently in Dubai.
