Simon Birkebaek is a core member of the Energy, Corporate Finance & Strategy, and Social Impact practices at Boston Consulting Group.
Simon works with clients on strategy, large-scale transformation, and corporate development. He focuses on strategies related to emissions reduction, climate regulation, and risk and disclosure, as well as new market opportunities, and has supported clients in these areas across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
Recently, Simon has developed a comprehensive decarbonization roadmap for a major region in the Middle East, developed a carbon capture strategy for an industrial goods company, and defined an ESG strategy for a major power developer, including ambition, target setting, and initiative definition.
Prior to joining BCG, Simon worked with robotics and electronics in engineering companies.
