Tamer Obied is a core member of the Energy practice at Boston Consulting Group. He has extensive experience working alongside leading energy players in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Tamer has supported both international and national oil companies, including working with many of their shipping and logistics assets to define long-term growth strategies, drive cost efficiency programs, and recently, guide them through energy transition pressures and decarbonization efforts.
Prior to joining BCG, Tamer worked for a global consulting firm supporting Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian clients and was an investment banker in New York focused on the shipping industry.
