Bio

“My passion is for working with committed people to design innovative approaches to accelerating progress and tackling critical challenges by thinking about them in wholly new ways.” Rudolph Lohmeyer is a partner based in the Middle East, where he leads Kearney’s National Transformations Institute (NTI) and the International Affairs platform of our Government and Economic Development Practice. As the head of the NTI, Rudolph helps senior private and public leaders anticipate, understand, and harness the global and regional forces of change shaping the current and emerging strategic environment. The Institute works on a range of projects at the frontier of change, spanning international affairs, the digital economy, cybersecurity, climate change, and more. “We are a think tank focused on action and impact,” he says. "We provide more than thought leadership—from scenario analysis and strategy design to economic modeling and policy analysis, we are dedicated to accelerating whole-of-society transformation.” Rudolph’s career has centered on the intersection between the private and public sectors—understanding the relationship between the power of market forces, the requirements of effective governance, and the transformative potential of technology. He previously served in a non-political role as the senior advisor for long-term strategic planning at the US Department of State, in addition to his work in investment banking, technology, and consulting. No matter the client or project, Rudolph thrives on the intellectual challenge and co-creation of ideas involved in driving strategic innovation at scale with a group of smart, committed people. “The power of that kind of collaborative innovation is truly humbling—and a joy for everyone in the room.”
