Bio

Sangeeth leads the Real Estate Practice in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and leads our work on affordable housing at a global level. He joined McKinsey in the United States in 2006 and has spent the past four years in the Middle East primarily focusing on infrastructure development and real estate. His background includes direct expertise in lean manufacturing and supply chain. Sangeeth has served ten major infrastructure clients around the globe (United States, Middle East, Africa, India, and SE Asia) and regularly advises developers, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms and government entities across the value chain—investment, development, construction, and asset management. As an adviser to chief executives, development managers, investment executives, and government leaders, he helps address strategic, operations, and organization issues. He has led McKinsey’s knowledge-development efforts and benchmarking in affordable housing. He has presented at leading conferences around the world, including the World Bank Housing Finance conference, where he was a speaker and a panelist. Sangeeth’s recent projects include the following: - Leading a lean-construction rollout with a Middle East EPC firm to accelerate the delivery schedules of high-rise towers - Helping to develop the strategy blueprint for a housing development for a leading Saudi real-estate developer - Working with a leading real-estate developer in India who is pioneering high-end luxury residential developments in the country and supporting a ministry in rolling out the country’s flagship affordable housing public-private-partnership program
