Saji is a Partner with Oliver Wyman, based in Dubai. He has 22 years of energy experience spanning across oil and gas, as well as power and utilities. Sam has extensive expertise in energy strategy and policy formulation, and organizational and operations performance improvements. His previous experience involved leadership positions with other top-tier consulting firms.

His project experience includes:
- Development of the Integrated National Energy Strategy for Prime Minister’s Office of Iraq, covering - oil & gas, power, and industries
- Development of a Distributed Generation framework for a major country
- Set up and launch of the National Renewable Energy Data & Intelligence Unit for KSA
- Development of the supply chain localization strategy for renewable energy
- Review and validation of pricing formulas and equalization mechanisms in preparation of the IPO of a major NOC
- Set up of a performance management and monitoring mechanism to govern the National Renewable Energy Program for KSA
- Development of processes and standards for unconventional gas operations excellence for major NOC
- Strategy development and implementation of vocational training institutes to supply talent required to meet localization targets
- Set up and implementing training and certification for distributed generation panel designers and installers
- Assessment of refining strategy for a major North African country including incentives required to attract foreign investment
- Optimization of warehouse inventory and manufacturing planning for Lubricants business of an Oil & Gas Super Major
- Integration of the 2030 strategy for a major NOC in Middle East across upstream, midstream, downstream, petrochemicals, and retail
- Operations expertise in upstream E&P sector – seismic, well data acquisition, reservoir evaluation, well completions, perforation, testing
- Design and implementation of the O&M processes for one of the world’s largest green-field refinery and petrochemical complexes
- MRO inventory optimization using stochastic models across 6 refinery and petrochemical complexes for a major Asian refiner
- Business expansion for a major power EPC company involved with manufacturing towers and turnkey transmission projects
- Development of the product portfolio strategy for a major electrical engineering and equipment manufacturing company in Asia
- Development of a shared services operating company to oversee 3 major oil & gas and petrochemical plants
- Assessment of manpower requirements across multiple downstream manufacturing plants in KSA

Saji holds an MBA degree from ISB - founding schools Kellogg, Wharton, and London Business School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai.
