This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Project Manager, in a team at the forefront of strategic delivery for Marsh Specialty UK. Your focus will be execution across six international Value-Streams, which will align Specialty UK operations to the Global Target Operating Model. To achieve this will require collaboration with colleagues across Client Management, Placement, Policy Management, Fiduciary, and Claims. You will work with Marsh colleagues to ensure that the Project and Company values are met in line with the high standards set by working for the world’s largest Insurance Broker.

This is the perfect opportunity for an individual looking to expand from management of individual projects into wider portfolio/programme management and engagement with business strategy. It will blend delivery of specific projects with strategic thinking and horizon planning.

What can you expect?

Support core transformation initiatives in our move to become an industry leader in digital processing. This is a varied portfolio of work that includes elements of technology, people and process change to achieve true transformation across our business. Oversee interactions across the major Global Value-Streams of Client Management, Placement, Policy Management, Fiduciary, and Claims. Work in a fast-paced team with high exposure to Senior Management (C-suite) and influence over strategy and decision making on significant projects. Management of complex projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high quality. Facilitate design of solutions to persistent/complex business issues and expedite decision making (experience of writing a business case and previous exposure to Business Analysis a plus). Work with a variety of project methodologies and cross functional teams. Build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, and consistently represent the interests of Marsh Specialty at project meetings. What you will be rewarded with?

Support the Specialty COO, and Head of Business Transformation & Planning to deliver the Strategy for Marsh Specialty UK. Engagement and implementation of 6 Global value streams by representing the Marsh Specialty division at UK and global stakeholder meetings. Manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously including stakeholder management at all levels. Work in a collaborative environment with the business, operations and technology. Work with external programmes (Blueprint II/ Future at Lloyd’s) to understand and plan for the changes coming to the market in the next 1-5 years. Be able to consume data from a variety of sources and provide concise, clear conclusions that can be used to validate decisions within a project. Engage key stakeholders to understand requirements and secure buy-in for change. Develop detailed delivery roadmaps and project plans covering: scope, resource, schedule, cost, assumptions, dependencies, etc. Proactively identify and manage risks/issues/ dependencies and escalate as required, taking action to minimise impact and remove barriers to success. What you need to have:

At least 5 years’ experience of complex project management / PMO. Motivation with plenty of energy and drive to succeed. Excellent writing/documentation, communication, analysis and organizational skills. Ability to grasp business needs and assess impacts to complex business operations and systems. Flexible approach, thriving on change and innovation. Attention to detail and structured thinking. Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Visio and Excel. What makes you stand out:

Prior work experience in the Insurance industry preferred. Background in/ understanding of Business Analysis techniques. Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
