Management Consulting Principal Director (Accenture LLP; Seattle, WA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Management Consulting Principal Director in Seattle, WA, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Define strategic direction to establish near term customer goals and benchmark of F500 clients on Finance Transformation, including keeping up with current regulations, trends, and technologies influencing digital finance, analytics, and the CFO ecosystem.
  • Interact with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, including leading business development efforts and advising on client offering solutions.
  • Provide solutions to complex business problems for Finance Transformation where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of leading practices including organizational objectives, operating model, platform transformation, financial planning, and data and reporting.
  • Manage and deliver large-scale Finance Transformations for clients through modernizing their finance function operating model, process and technology, and data to improve operational efficiency.
  • Conduct project and issue management (including status reporting, issue reporting, and ETC/budget reporting) for assigned scope of work and make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management.
  • Manage large global teams and work efforts, supporting career development, mentorship, and performance evaluation process within Accenture.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Engineering, or related field, plus 7 years of experience (of which 5 years must be progressive post-baccalaureate experience) in management consulting.

Must have 7 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Project management of Finance Transformation, including defining scope, setting project timelines and milestones, driving deliverables, identifying risks, managing issues, and client relationship management;
  • Leading a team of finance professionals, strategy consultants, business analysts, product fintech engineer, or enterprise performance management engineers;
  • Finance Transformation business process management, organization modeling, and digital finance process maturity;
  • Enterprise performance management including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, planning, forecasting, or management reporting;
  • Leveraging finance function to support consulting advisory or industry position of Fortune 100 companies;
  • Financial process and financial system product management;
  • Financial reporting and analytics, including dashboard visualization and financial modelling; and
  • Utilizing Finance and Performance Analytics enabling technologies, including Board, OneStream, Anaplan, Cognos, SAP SAC, SAP BPC, Oracle Hyperion, Oracle EPM Cloud, or Workday Adaptive Planning.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
