The opportunity

You’ll lead our clients on a range of risk management services and issues in the treasury area around asset liability management, liquidity risk management, FTP, and other treasury activities.

 

Your key responsibilities:

You’ll lead the development of cutting-edge disruptive technologies and assist with building and implementing new technology solutions and products to address liquidity challenges faced by the banking industry. You’ll translate business requirements and user stories into technical platform capabilities, roadmaps, solution architectures, and data domains. You will consult directly with clients, including leading discussions with program, divisional, and client solution leaders. In this role, you will also:

  • Research client inquiries and emerging issues relating to risk management, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies
  • Lead engagements, including the end to end ‘contract to cash’ lifecycle, and work in a cross functional and global team environment
  • Deliver exceptional client service by recognizing potential risks and recommending solutions for effective management
  • Develop and maintain influential long-term relationships with client’s key influencers/decision makers and cultivate business development opportunities

  • Demonstrated ability to manage, supervise and build an effective team of technology consultants through all phases of the engagement lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, development, testing and post-delivery support

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor's degree in risk, computer science, information technology, management information systems, engineering or a related field, and more than 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and more than 4 years of related work experience
  • Experience in managing small to mid-sized teams and overseeing projects from inception to deployment
  • Experience in treasury and liquidity reporting (FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR) and risk management practices, processes, and products
  • Knowledge of a broad range of treasury instruments and the complex financial products used to manage risk
  • Functional knowledge related to asset-liability management, interest rate risk, funding and liquidity risk, collateral management, stress testing
  • Understand leading practices and regulatory guidance in Treasury governance, processes, procedures, and internal control environment
  • Experience in financial risk management combined with leading enterprise IT implementations leveraging Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Prior consulting experience with a Big 4 firm or large global bank
  • Business requirements using agile methodologies and tools e.g., JIRA
  • OOP Programming languages (Java preferable)
  • Scripting Technologies (Python preferable)
  • Databases (e.g., Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, Big data technologies like Hadoop)
  • Reporting/Visualization Tools (Spotfire, Tableau, Qlik)

•    The salary range for this position in Stamford is $119,900- $237,900 

•    The salary range for this position in Hartford is  $109,000- $216,300

•    The salary range for this position in Las Vegas is  $103,500 - $205,500

What we offer
 
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $128,400 to $235,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $154,100 to $267,500.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
