Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
  • 15 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, business strategy, investment banking, private equity or corporate advisory.
  • Experience developing business strategies, financial modeling and managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience in people management.
Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA or Graduate degree in Management, Technical or Engineering field.
  • Experience influencing executive stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience working in technical, media, and telecommunication company.

In this role, you will play a critical role in defining and driving strategic and operational projects. You will help solve complex ecosystems, partners, and market issues across business development, enterprise and central strategy and operations. You will lead, oversee multiple strategic projects or initiatives at the same time, and provide clear deliverables that influence leadership and help evolve the Devices and Services Business Organization (DSBO). You will work closely with teams and with key cross-functional leaders (e.g., Device and Services Product Area (DSPA), Finance, Legal, gTech, communication, Marketing, People Operations (POps). You will ensure DSBO has a well built operating rhythm such as overseeing annual planning, opex, headcount management/resource allocation, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to drive business results.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $215,000-$315,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Build and lead a team of strategy and operations professionals to drive business impact in DSBO.
  • Partner with executive leadership in Devices and Services Business Organization (DSBO) to develop strategic perspectives on sales topics that drive key decisions and set the future direction of the business.
  • Build strategy capabilities and frameworks for the organization (e.g., data-driven processes, investigative tools).
  • Be a trusted advisor and thought partner to the stakeholder group, Coach/mentor to the entire Devices and Services Business Organization (DSBO) StratOps team.
  • Manage and coach team members across their projects, own team check-ins, project prioritization, and feedback and development of reports.
