Management Advisor, Transformation Execution - Complex Program Management (Manager) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Houston, TX.

Help clients across multiple functional areas with business performance management, analytics enablement, growth/strategy, process improvement, cost reduction, technology implementation and enterprise transformation. Identify key value drivers and defining metrics to inform performance, support decision making, and foster positive behavior and actions. Provide comprehensive services to design build and operate large complex transformational programs. Design and set up a PMO or EPMO for a large complex program involving multiple related projects. Design structures which will drive business process transformation and IT enablement. Identify program and work stream level risks, issues and interdependencies. Identify the capability, infrastructure and design remediation actions needed to get the program capabilities to the client's intended maturity target level. Build processes, criteria and infrastructure needed to identify and prioritize initiatives in a way that optimal results and benefits are achieved.   Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

 

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, Engineering, Economics, or Business, plus 5 years of experience, which must include 3 years of client-facing consulting experience with a professional services firm and 4 years of experience in designing, setting up and managing a PMO or EPMO for a large complex program involving multiple, related projects.

     Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Systems, Engineering, Economics, or Business, plus 4 years of experience, which must include 2 years of client-facing consulting experience with a professional services firm and 3 years of experience in designing, setting up and managing a PMO or EPMO for a large complex program involving multiple, related projects. Experience may be gained as part of the Master’s education, including co-op and/or internship experience.    Must have 2 years of experience as Workstream Lead on end-to-end program management implementations using Planview, Clarity, Niku HP, Primavera, or MS Project or MS Project Server.

   Must have 2 years of experience in implementing governance structures for complex programs and organizations, including, definition of ownership, accountability roles and responsibilities, decision making frameworks, gate approval process, program wide communications, and formalized and standard program steering.

   Must have 2 years of experience in at least 2 of the following areas:

- Program management for large scale business transformation projects and programs;

- Developing new business with existing clients at the C' level of Fortune 500 companies; OR

- Leading a team of consulting professionals on multiple projects.

Must have 2 years of experience communicating with C-level executives.

   Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.
